In addition to Namo WebEditor, Namo developed and marketed Namo ActiveSquare, an Active X control for editing Web content in a Web browser or other Windows® application, and DeepSearch, an Internet search engine that can be integrated into a Web site. Namo ActiveSquare is currently being used by Yahoo Japan. Other software includes: Namo CrossEditor, PhotoEditor, ActivePhoto, CrossUploader.
The first version of Namo WebEditor to gain international attention was Namo WebEditor 3.0 in 1999. This was followed by the successful release in 2000 of Namo WebEditor 4.0, which received a number of positive reviews and product awards, including CNET Builder.com’s “Best WYSIWYG Web Database Tool” award. Namo WebEditor 4 received this award against contemporary versions of Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev and Microsoft FrontPage. Starting from Namo WebEditor 5, Namo became widely available in most of the brick and mortal retail stores throughout US and Canada.
